Closing Time

Hey everyone.

Hope you had a gr8 halloween, as Gauraa would say.

This was the week that No Contact’s first return issue was supposed to be released — I am so sorry to say that it will be postponed a month or two. The other big news is that it will actually be our final issue, rather than our first issue back.

It is Closing Time, folks.

Some other beginning’s end.

I’ll spare the emotional tour of what No Contact means to me, what it meant to Gauraa — at least until our last issue’s Letter FromJust know it has been, immense.

Thank you to all of you in this community who made such a warm space for us; thank you to those of you for whom No Contact also means something. However much. Publications are a product of their readers and submitters — their constituents. It’s been an honor to serve you fine people.

Thank you to the incredibly talented writers and editors who work at No Contact now. Thank you to our hilarious social media editor; we’ve finally unlocked the basement door for you. See yourself out. Thank you to our sharp-eyed readers, who tame the chaos of submissions. To our award-winning columnists, to our far-overqualified editors.

These people will be snapped up by bigger and better opportunities in a blink. Don’t miss your chance.

Thank you if you’ve ever lent a hand in difficult times. Thank you if you’ve only ever supported from afar. Thanks for stopping by at AWP to say hi, buy a sticker.

Thank you for being there.

I’m sorry, again, that No Contact will be coming to a close. Sometimes the hardest decisions have the simplest explanations.

No Contact just isn’t the same without Gauraa. We’re sure it would still be pretty damn good. But it just isn’t the same.

No Contact: Closing Time will be released, soon. Thank you for your patience.

Thank you for everything.

I hope you’ve found a friend.
